Rewriting the rules of pipelines safety
Haptosonic brings next generation accuracy to pipeline monitoring: without taps, without risks, and without false alarms.
Non-invasive and built for any environment, haptosonic represents the next generation of Vibroacoustic Monitoring as part of the e-vpms technology.
The New Standard in Leak, Impact & TPI Detection
Main Features and Highlights of haptosonic
Easy deployment
The technology can be installed quickly and non-invasively: requires a simple external contact to the pipeline shell, no needs for hot-taps or hydraulic derivations.
Intrinsically safe
Vibroacoustic data made easy
Provides comparable and compatible signals with respect to the classic Vibroacoustic sensors used by the e-vpms technological family.
Haptosonic adds non-invasive and clamp-on style pressure, microvibrations and sound measurements to the most demanding pipelines.
Cost-effective
Requiring low or even no additional costs for its installation, and combining with interdistances exceeding 50 km between sensors, haptosonic is the ideal investment for retrofitting existing pipelines to detect leaks and many other applications, starting from prevention.
From physics to the pipeline industry
Inspired by gravitational waves detection technology, directly to your pipeline
The New haptosonic Sensor
Gravitational waves are known to be the faintest phenomenon in the known universe, yet, their existence was not just proved, but also precisely measured, just a few years ago by very advanced detectors.
Taking inspiration by the very same concepts and methods used to detect them, Enivibes developed and patented its haptosonic sensor: a new approach for the detection of the same Vibroacoustic waves on which the e-vpms technology is based.
The haptosonic sensor (from Greek ἅπτω, háptō, touch and Latin sŏnus, sound) only needs to touch the pipeline, and not the fluid within, to deliver levels of performance comparable to the rest of the e-vpms technological family, avoiding false alarms by design.
