Cookie Policy
Pursuant to Regulation (EU) No. 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (“GDPR”), as well as Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 (“Privacy Code”), Enivibes S.r.l. (the “Company” or “Data Controller“) sets out below the information relating to cookies and other similar tracking technologies (jointly, “Trackers”) used on the website https://www.enivibes.com/ (the “Website”) and for the use of the services offered through it (the “Services”).
In general, the information stored in the Trackers may include both personal data (such as an IP address, a username, a unique identifier, or an e‑mail address) and information that does not constitute personal data (such as chosen language settings). For further details on the processing of personal data carried out while browsing the Website, please refer to the Website’s Privacy Notice.
1. Trackers – General Information
Cookies are small text files usually stored by websites within the user’s terminal device (for example, a computer or mobile device), so that they can be retransmitted to the same sites upon the next visit (browser cookies or HTTP cookies). However, there are also other types of cookies and tracking technologies, such as local storage objects (“LSO”) or Flash cookies (using Adobe Flash to store information on the user’s device); Software Development kits (“SDKs” code inserted within applications activities), tracking pixels (small code fragments, often transparent image file, embedded in content such as web pages or emails, which, when viewed, allow the server to collect information), device fingerprinting technologies (used to collect information on the user’s software or hardware and uniquely identify the device).
Trackers may be distinguished based on:
• the entity managing the device or domain from which they are sent:
o First‑party Trackers: placed on the user’s device by the domain or device of the operator of the website or application the user is visiting/using;
o Third‑party Trackers: placed on the user’s device from a domain or device managed by a third party other than the operator of the website or application visited
• the period during which the Trackers remain active:
o Session Trackers: stored only until the end of the browsing session, enabling linking of the user’s actions during that specific session;
o Persistent Trackers: remain stored even after the end of the browsing session and allow remembering user preferences;
• the purpose of processing information through the Trackers:
o Technical Trackers (strictly necessary): they enable the use of services provided by a website or application and include browsing Trackers necessary for the normal navigation, usability, and security. Without these Trackers, certain operations cannot be performed or would be less secure or more complex. The use of technical Trackers does not require the user’s consent and therefore cannot be disabled;
o Functionality Trackers: allow remembering user personalization settings (e.g language or privacy preferences) and enable functionality of third‑party services integrated into a site or application. The use of functionality Trackers does not require the user’s consent and therefore cannot be disabled;
o Analytical (or performance) Trackers: used to collect aggregated and anonymous information on user interaction with a website or application (e.g., most and least visited sections, navigation patterns) to improve performance and optimize services. The use of analytical Trackers does not require the user’s consent, as those installed by the Website meet the criteria set out in the applicable legislation to be considered technical Trackers;
o Profiling (or targeted advertising) Trackers: used to track user behavior, profile them, and generally send personalized advertising messages based on detected activities and preferences. The company always requests the user’s consent for the use of profiling Trackers. By refusing profiling Trackers, the user will still be able to browse the website or applivation and may see generic, non-personalized advertising.
